GLHS Seniors Named 2023 National Merit Semifinalists

GLHS National Merit Semifinalists

Four Gahanna Lincoln High School students have received the honor of being named National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. These semifinalists represent having the highest scores on the PSAT/NMSQT and approximately 1% of high school seniors nationwide

To become a finalist, the semifinalist and a high school official must submit a detailed scholarship application in which they provide information about the semifinalist’s academic record, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership abilities, employment, and honors and awards received. A semifinalist must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, be endorsed and recommended by a high school official, and write an essay.

The semifinalists have the opportunity to compete for more than 7,100 National Merit college scholarships worth nearly $28 million.

Congratulations to these talented students!
